The Challenge:

In 2023, 49,000 people died by suicide according to the CDC.

That equals one death every 11 minutes.

People ages 85 and older had the highest rates of suicide in '23, followed by those between ages 75-84.

Loneliness due to isolation is one of the factors affecting our seniors that can lead to suicide.

Sunflowers for Seniors is working hard to change that!



Your support enables us to:

• Grow sunflowers to share with homebound seniors to bring them joy and

• Provide local education on growing sunflowers to increase visitation with our homebound seniors
